For Beyond the Black Box – February 1 to 4, 2023 – de Brakke Grond, together with the Missionaries, will create three video portraits of makers who are supported in their development. This time: Charlotte Goesaert. She can be seen at the festival with whatchamacallit, a co-production of C-TAKT and de Brakke Grond.

“I like to use non-dance bodies, I really like a bit of fat, a belly, something that hangs or is different. Because I want to move away from the typical dance body, which we then admire and put on a pedestal. I want people to be able to watching something they feel more connected to.”
