“TAPIES” – from (to) crouch – draws from the Japanese practice of Chindogu for its method. Born in the 1980s, Chindogu is a paradoxical tool that solves everyday problems but whose use creates other absurd issues. The piece is an assembly of DIY projects, hacks, and attempts aimed at resolving performative situations through ineffective means. “TAPIES” invites us to look at deviated strategies to reveal ways of exposing ourselves that play with codes and conventions.
In C-TAKT, Pauline would like to focus the rehearsal on the stage design and some choreographic materials.
