Winternights 2017

After the successful first edition of WINTERNIGHTS in 2016, SoAP and VIA ZUID joined forces again in 2017 to organize the second edition of the festival. From SoAP, ‘facing faces’ by Rita Hoofwijk were executed. SALLY Dance Company Maastricht presented two performances and FASHIONCLASH screened a number of films that premiered on November 4 during the Fashion Film Festival Maastricht. The first day of the festival was filled with private networking sessions and workshops for the makers of SoAP and VIA ZUID and professionals from the sector.

During WINTERNIGHTS 2017, the Edmond Hustinx Stimulans Prize was awarded for the first time to three promising starters from the artist world. The winners each received an amount of € 2,500 with which they can further develop and realize their creative ideas.
