Analogue Humans
KID.
Description
The impact of digitalization on people is depicted as a recognizable snapshot and before time catches up with us, the tangibility of the analogue is quickly embraced. By working with artists from different disciplines, Terry Beks and Kim Vreys bring together fiction, documentary and abstraction with music during the art-house film ‘Analogue Humans’ and thus express their vision about the transition from an analogue to a digital age. An audiovisual, artistic image about the experience of the increasingly rapidly emerging digitalization and what it brings to people at a micro level.
Filming takes place from Belgium, the Netherlands, Tucson (USA) and Tokyo (Japan)
An artistic collaboration with Rob Walbers, MELVIN, Dirk Hendrickx, Jaak De Digitale, Gideon Kiefer, Geert Peeten, Frits Standaert, Thijs Boonen, Kris Ercken and Cas Van Nieuwenhuyse.
Music written by Terry Beks in collaboration with Stef Kamil Carlens, Naima Joris, Joy Wellboy, Nathan Daems, Buni Lenski, Rudy Trouvé, Yves Theeuwen, Chantal Acda, Donai Singleton, Stijn Segers (TOUR) and Kris Dane.
