Biography
Jan Leyssens is a designer and entrepreneur with a strong focus on sustainability and social innovation. His goal is to develop a relationship between society and society in a sustainable way. His background is in Industrial Design, but I quickly shifted my focus to business design and the use of the design process in strategic management.

Designer Jan Leyssens realizes his desire to stand on a stage and tell the world how technology and sustainability can go perfectly hand in hand. Under the motto “there is not one big solution but many small solutions”, he and director Ruud Horrichs discuss special projects and deliver his message. THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT is an energetic lecture performance about activism, entrepreneurship and the feasibility of the future. In a co-production with C-mine cultural center Genk and Via Zuid, Leyssens and Horrichs create an open workshop on the theater floor that guides the viewer into the magic of making.
